Loved this place! I met my local friends here for dinner. Usually when I visit local friends, they request a foreign restaurant or eatery when we hang out because they eat local food all the time and there is no novelty there but my friends were super excited to take me here so I already knew it was going to be great! We got so many dishes that I don't even know the names of. Definitely not a bread and butter place. My friends let me know that this place has food items that represent the different regions of Thailand and we tried a little bit of everything till we couldn't eat anymore. We even got dessert to end things off. I wish I recalled the names of all the dishes but I'm sure I can look up the menu and find out again. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip my tastebuds took and I recommend the same for you!

Centrally located little gem opposite Terminal 21 with happy faces, fast services, affordable pricing and delicious food in great quality and quantity. I recommend this place wholeheartedly. I think it should become some landmark tourist attraction. Please try these guys over and over instead of going to the many tourist traps! You can have a full meal in 110 Thai Baht! Best local eatery in Sukhumvit region.

I am in Thailand, visiting my family and friends. I got to try this restaurant the first day I arrived in Bangkok. Thonkrueng restaurant is a must try place to go for traditional Thaifood. The palce is clean and has a nice seating area with a table that can accommodate a large group of guests. It has an extended menu with many choices of delicious Thai dishes. Great service, and the price is reasonable for the Thonglor area. I love Tommy Kung the best!
